How the CS5 system works

SIMPLE, EFFECTIVE, PROVEN

The CS5® system creates instant, consistent force levels, delivering a smoother, more constant force that works better and lasts longer.

It is one of the most successful Class II and Class III correctors used worldwide, thanks to its simplicity, effectiveness and price compared with other systems available today.

Tips for Class II treatment:

An initial mandibular advancement of more than 2 mm is not recommended. At later visits, reposition the pivots or swap the 10 mm springs for 7 mm springs for further mandibular advancement.

As a Class III corrector, nothing compares. I had a patient with a 10mm underbite and severe mandibular crowding. Surgery wasn’t an option due to cost, so we opted to align his lower incisors. After extracting lower first premolars, we started orthodontic treatment with brackets on both upper and lower teeth. Using the CS® system in a class III direction, we achieved impressive results.

Bonded directly to the tooth

CS5 Bondable: ideal for aligners

The bondable version of the CS5 system attaches directly to the tooth and fits into the aligner treatment plan.

The Bondable pivot has a low profile for patient comfort, and the low-profile screw easily attaches the spring to the pivot. The spring applies a gentle force of only 150 grams to correct Class II or Class III cases with minimal discomfort.
