The UNIQ pd thermoforming material offers an innovative solution for aligner treatments by achieving maximum effect with just one layer. Unlike many multilayer foils, UNIQ pd permanently withstands forces generated during the entire treatment without any stability loss. UNIQ pd’s improved material characteristics allow it to exert less pressure over an extended period of time compared with conventional single-layer aligner materials. Thanks to its gentle initial forces and constant restoring forces, it also offers a considerably higher wearing comfort. As a result, the teeth move more smoothly and efficiently whilst the patient enjoys a higher wearing comfort at the same time.
