The Ixion Long Handled Distal End Cutter with Tungsten Carbide (T.C.) Inserts is designed to provide easy access to hard-to-reach areas during orthodontic procedures. Its extra-long handles and compact head allow precise cutting of archwires close to the buccal tube while safely retaining the distal wire segment after cutting.
Features:
- Tungsten Carbide (T.C.) inserts for outstanding cutting performance and extended durability.
- Maximum cutting capacity: archwires up to 0.021" × 0.025" (0.55 × 0.64 mm).
- Not recommended for Beta Titanium (TMA) wires. For this application, use the IX900S model.
